The Lost Stars
I got my husband up at 1:40 a.m. and drove 1-1/2 hours to view this year's Perseid meteor shower at Trillium Lake by Mt. Hood (Oregon). The full moon was predicted to obliterate most of the show this year, so I chose the last 2 hours before dawn as my best chance of catching a shot. We saw about 10 meteors, but none of them chose to shoot thru my images, of course! I don't have the right equipment to get very good night shots, so without boring you with the technicalities, this was the darkest one I could get =) Fortunately the location makes any shot worthwhile!
