The Artist

I don't grow flowers, so I can often be found wandering neighborhoods searching for flowers to shoot. Pathetic, I know! I usually try to find the owner to ask permission to shoot their flowers, and they're usually delighted to share them with me.

I met the most wonderful woman the other day in her yard. While she cleaned her bicyle and I photographed her flowers we had quite an animated and meaningful discussion about talent/giftedness versus practice and working at the craft.

These adorable little flowers were my favorites from her yard.
