synapped > Blurring the Lines I don't know if these are birch or aspen -- I'm thinking birch. We don't have much, if any, aspen around our low-lying country. I'm dying for some of those lovely fall aspen shots for my portfolio. This is about all I can get of even the birch 'cuz, doggone it, they're always around buildings or ugly industrial stuff!
synapped > Playing with Fall In Photoshop I made a copy of the background layer and changed the Blending Mode to Screen, then played with the opacity a bit to lighten it. After that I used the Flood filter for the reflection. Voile -- art!

Oh, well...the winter rains have hit SW Washington! I find myself so disappointed with the colors because I've seen pix of it on a sunny day in the fall, so compared to that, this is blah. Maybe you can give me some honest feedback on whether it's a keeper or not. Thanks!
