synapped > Double Voltage

We had the most spectacular thunderstorm while in Acapulco. This one lasted the entire night -- I've never seen anything like it! With that opportunity I finally succeeded at getting a lightning shot from our hotel balcony! The friends we went with were out on the cruise party ship between these 2 bolts of lightning celebrating Independence Day! (If you hover your mouse over the pic and choose X2Large it's much more dramatic)

For some reason the website won't put this one in chronological order with the rest of the pix.
synapped > Phantom Peaks
From the airplane flying over Oregon or Washington? I don't know what the mountaintops were, but I thought they looked cool!
synapped > Airplane shot
synapped > Checkerboards
synapped > The first restaurant we ate at in Zihuatanejo. We flew in to Zihuat, then rented a vehicle to drive to Acapulco.
synapped > Inside the restaurant. Katja & Kenny
synapped > Anybody know what kind of flower this is? Some kind of bromeliad?
synapped > After the rain shower
synapped > Breakfast restaurant. Delavars and the waitress

synapped > I don't know what this is either. It was beautiful.
synapped > Acapulco Hillside
From the 11th floor window of our hotel. The green in the foreground was a huge park with a zoo, soccer field and much more.
synapped > Acapulco's Sea
We went during the hurricane season, so there were lots of beautiful clouds.
From our 11th-floor hotel room
