My personal take on this group is to POST an image daily, not necessarily SHOOT an image and post it daily. I find it takes a lot of perseverance just to get a shot processed and loaded every day, and the discipline stretches me to continually improve my skills.

Something from long ago I keep meaning to upload. I love playing with dandelions! This one had some daisies in the background which reflected in the dewdrops. It was suggested that I crop this to showcase the reflections better. I kindof like the idea of the tiny drops in a big world. What do you think?

I finally climbed a bit of Mt. Rainier in Washington state this year in late summer. I hadn't realized there was an "easy" path for us woosey kinds of people! Wow, what an amazing place! I missed the best of the flower show, but the cool thing was that the higher you climbed, you got spring all over again!

I was sitting on the grass in the park trying to get squirrel pix when the sun lit up this little patch of leaves, making it stand out from the rest. It caught my breath :-)

This is one of those that really begs to be viewed in XLarge size.

This is the closest I've gotten to the elusive kestrel. I want a full-frame closeup, but they always take off! Someday...

I saw this egret in the river between the reflections of power poles.

We recently went to the aquarium at Newport, Oregon. I'm always fascinated with the jellyfish. They're challenging to shoot in the low light, and I forgot to try even higher ISO's, but I discovered the program Nik Dfine works wonders for white noise! I used the 15-day trial version, and -- voile'!

I caught a bit of fall color in the fog at a nearby park. We actually do still have quite a bit of fall color left, since we have a pretty mild climate, but this was taken a few weeks ago.

When I was playing with these pumpkin trees a cute little visitor came to join me :-)
