For me BEAUTY is what photography is all about. There’s something so thrilling about catching an image that makes my soul gasp!
Having not discovered photography until I was in my 50s, I am continually working to learn how to capture a fragment of the emotion and beauty around me so I can share it with others. It’s an awe-inspiring feeling. I live in the paradise of the Pacific NW near Portland, Oregon, where there's no end of breathtaking beauty within hours of my home, and every time I take my camera out I feel the thrill of the treasure hunt.
