For me BEAUTY is what photography is all about. There’s something so thrilling about catching an image that makes my soul gasp! I’m fairly new to photography and am constantly working to learn how to capture a fragment of the beauty around me so I can share it with others. It’s an awe-inspiring feeling. Every time I take my camera out I feel the thrill of the treasure hunt. Maybe this time I’ll find a breath-catcher!

I live in the paradise of the Pacific NW near Portland, Oregon. There's no end of beauty within hours of my home.

Mid-2006 is when I was bit by the photog bug, and I have lived, eaten and breathed it ever since ;-) Because I'm still a beginner, I REALLY appreciate constructive criticism and/or suggestions on my photos. Please don't feel shy about giving them to me -- just be kind about it, of course!
